I join Israel's millions of friends around the world in celebrating this 63rd anniversary of Israel's independence.
Senator Marco Rubio sat down with Bill Bennett from "Morning in America."
Last week, Senator Rubio co-sponsored the "No Taxpayer Funding For Abortion Act," which will ensure that taxpayer dollars are never used for the destruction of human life through abortion. The U.S. House of Representatives passed a companion bill last Wednesday.
Senator Rubio joined with fellow GOP Senators to introduce legislation today that would prevent federal funds from being used to fund abortions. This week, Senator Rubio addressed hundreds of people at each of his town hall meetings in Pensacola, Daytona Beach and St. Augustine. His message that it's time to seriously confront our debt crisis resonated with the local crowds.
Clearly, we should be on the side of the Syrian people longing for freedom and challenging the regime's corrupt and repressive rule. Unfortunately, the Obama administration's hesitancy to weigh in has been mistaken for indecision at best and indifference at worst.
Earlier this week, Senator Rubio signed on to a letter to protect First Amendment rights of prospective federal contractors.
